How to Leverage RPA to Improve Your Back Office?

Back office operations include a range of functions like accounting, IT, HR, data management, and much more. Charter Global frequently works with clients seeking a more streamlined back-office with Robotic Process Automations in order to improve overall efficiency.

What tasks are able to be automated?

If an assignment is repetitive, it most likely can be automated. For many back-office operations, using RPA is a great way to free up employees to work on time-sensitive critical tasks. While at one time there was a worry that robots would take jobs away from the more they were used in businesses, we have found that our clients are able to scale and provide better customer service than without robotic automation. From small tasks to more complex projects, RPAs empower employees to engage in more meaningful work, have higher job satisfaction, increase morale and further the goals for the company.

Where should my back office start with RPA?

Because each business is unique in how the services it offers, the people it employs, and the way it operates, we always recommend consulting with our automation team before getting started. If a business is just getting started with RPA, we will start with a simple approach. Changes (whether big or small) in a business can often cause waves that impact the organization in surprising ways. By starting with a few simpler RPA bots and building from there, Charter Global can ensure your business will improve exactly how you want it to be.

For some businesses, their first RPA might be fact-checking payroll information. For others, it might be data entry of new leads from a recent survey. Regardless of what the function is, RPA is often able to completely eliminate human error, decrease costs, and improve productivity.

How can Charter Global help?

The automation development team here at Charter Global is able to provide custom, unique automation solutions for all of our clients’ needs. From automating simple tasks to multi-moving complex jobs, we can help you determine exactly what you need in an RPA bot. Top qualities for success in SAP Hybris

Over the past couple of years, SAP Hybris has become a common thread in many global IT initiatives as companies seek to improve their customer connections, whether they are B2C or B2B. It first began with retailers as Hybris initially went to market primarily as an e-commerce solution. Companies in other industries soon saw the e-commerce successes and sought to bring their businesses similar wins through Hybris. Today the Hybris market is booming with projects being initiated by companies across the globe and across industries.

Even with the growing demand for Hybris consultants, clients still hold out for the right fit when it comes to selecting a Hybris freelancer to drive their project. So what are the core skills and qualities necessary to get ahead in the fast-paced Hybris projects environment?

Working almost exclusively in the Hybris market, the Global Enterprise Partners team asked our network this very question and found that exceptional Hybris consultants should have the following:

1) A well-rounded technical background

There seems to be a common misunderstanding that Hybris consultants should have a strong background in e-commerce and this is what will make them successful. A background in e-commerce is indeed valuable, however, the technical background is far more important.

Hybris is based on spring, which means that any Hybris consultant should have extensive development experience in Java and J2EE. Strong consultants will have experience with spring, Java and J2EE and will have worked in these areas for five or more years before moving into Hybris. This background in development provides a solid foundation for technical insights to drive results for their prospective clients’ businesses.

While the length of time developing in Java and J2EE is not in and of itself an indication of the skill of a Hybris consultant, it is a commonality among the best consultants who go on to positions with more leadership capacity.

2) A baseline understanding of Omni-channel concepts

As Hybris extends across industries and diversifies its offering it’s easy to forget that at its core it is an Omnichannel solution. Product Content Management and Order Management Systems are often the baselines for many Hybris implementations, so as a result, many successful consultants come to a project well-versed in these concepts and potential solutions.

Skilled consultants will have a holistic understanding of underlying Omni-channel principles that are then backed up with a sturdy foundation in technical development.

3) A breadth of Omni-channel experience

A solid understanding of Omni-channel principles should be matched with a breadth of experience in this area as well. The best SAP Hybris consultants will have work for at least several companies operating on an Omni-channel model— these will most likely be retailers, however, it is becoming increasingly desirable to have experience with newer industries such as travel or insurance as Hybris extends their client portfolio.

The most qualified Hybris consultants will have worked in several industries on Omni-channel initiatives, lending them a well-rounded perspective on solutions and options for prospective clients.

Client demand in Hybris competencies is on the rise with new projects being initiated by companies across industries. The substantial investment in implementations and improvements has prompted clients to critically assess the caliber of Hybris candidates in order to ensure the results drive a competitive edge. I found through my network that there are 3 core qualities that all top-performing Hybris candidates have: strong technical background, baseline understanding of Omni-channel principles, and breadth of Omni-channel experience. If you’re a Hybris consultant, looking to work into a leadership position in your next project, these qualities are each a strong tool to add to your professional skillset.

Benefits of Xamarin App Development for Your Business

Xamarin application development is by far one of the most used frameworks by developers across the world while its popularity and demand are on the rise continuously. Major organizations like BOSCH, SIEMENS, PINTEREST, and more are currently using Xamarin for their product development.

Here are some of the benefits of Xamarin App Development for Business:

1. Native User Experience

Xamarin application development results in the creation of applications that offer native or near-native experience with the use of Xamarin. Forms. The frameworks have access to the native APIs that are currently used for platforms like android, iOS while the nativeness is the result of some platform-specific elements that can be found in C# and Visual Studio. In addition to this, Xamarin. Forms further ensure the creation of convenient UIs for platforms like iOS, Windows as well as Android.

2. Single Technology Stack

Xamarin app development is one of the most sought-after ways for businesses to ensure time-effectiveness as well as ease of creation for the developers. The single language in the technology stack that is C# can be used for creating multiple solutions without having to switch environments, all thanks to the Visual Studio. The single technological stack in the Xamarin Framework makes it easy to use and learn.

3. Shared App Logic

With almost 95% of the code that can be reused once it's written, Xamarin app development is considered one of the easiest tasks to perform. This strategically reduces the amount of time required for the completion of the application tasks while significantly reducing the effort required as well. The developers can run a single codebase across multiple platforms with only a minimal change required.

4. Cost-Effective

Since the Xamarin app development framework uses a single technological stack as well as a reusable code, the time required by the developers for the development of a single application is significantly reduced while at the same time allows them to release their software faster to the client. Since the entire process is carried out between C# and the Visual studio, the organization only requires a single team to work on the task as it is streamlined significantly thereby eliminating additional expenses required for multiple teams. tart building on a smaller level and scale up moving forward.

5. Integrated Testing

Xamarin test clouds, unlike others, allow the developers to test their application continuously during the development process which thereby results in faultless code generation. In addition to this, the Xamarin test cloud can be used across multiple mobile platforms to test the application without having to buy multiple devices for individual testing. Finding performance issues before the release of the application makes way for a rather cost-effective solution when compared to other frameworks.

6. Open-Source and Microsoft Support

Being an open-source framework, Xamarin is constantly improving as we say. Apart from this, the framework is backed by the most dominant power in the world that is Microsoft, making it rather scalable, stable as well as robust.

7. Easy Maintenance

Since the frameworks allow code reuse, the application created with Xamarin. Forms are rather easy to maintain. Applying changes to the source code when concurred with an issue can be ultimately seen on the other aspects as well thereby saving time and money. Apart from this, the large community is always ready to support issues at hand while providing proper documentation as well as training.

Since Xamarin app development with its many benefits has been proven rather beneficial for business organizations, the popularity of the framework seems no bound in the present times. Developing the mobile application with Xamarin results in cost-effectiveness as well as increased efficiency in addition to getting the native apps like experience as well.

It is one of the frameworks that doesn’t allow any compromise on the quality while at the same time offers time-saving and cost-cutting measures for the organizations. The scalability of the platform in addition to the ease of use further adds to its benefits. However, it is necessary to consult a professional while choosing between native or cross-platform application development considering the multiple business expectations, market trends as well as client requirements.

How to Plan Your Mobile App Development Strategy?

Let’s consider how to plan your mobile app development strategy.

Step 1. Outline the company’s overall strategy

Identify your company’s mission, vision, goals, and targets. It will help you to understand how your app will meet your customers’ and company’s needs.

Step 2. Identify your target users

Developing a business plan for a mobile app also requires a thorough analysis of your target customers. This analysis should be based on their age, gender, preferences, needs, and pains. For instance, if you want to launch an app for learning new languages, your audience will consist primarily of young people motivated to learn new foreign languages.

Step 3. Analyze your competitors

One of the most important elements in the app development business plan is an effective competitor analysis. Due to the fact that app stores are crowded by numerous applications of similar types.

Step 4. Decide on a type of app you want to create

Choosing the type of app you need is one of the most significant stages of app development. Keep in mind that native apps support only one platform while hybrid apps can work on several platforms but with limitations on the functional side.

Step 5. Decide on development methodology

You can choose between two methodologies: Agile and Waterfall. If you stick to the Waterfall methodology, you decide on the parameters of app development at the very beginning and develop the app step by step, but it’ll take longer until you’ll see the first prototype of the working app. With Agile methodologies, you can develop several sections of an app simultaneously and introduce changes at any stage of the development process.

Step 6. Create an effective marketing strategy

Last, but not least, the point in mobile strategy is marketing. If you want to make your app visible, think about the platforms that you want to target, and how you will measure the convergence. For instance, in the case of app development, your tools will include the number of downloads, sales, app analytics, etc.

There are a lot of tools that will help you to promote your app. One of them is app store search optimization, which makes your app visible to the users. With the same aim, you can use search ads in app stores. You can also use such a tool as AppMachine, which will help you to advertise your app among your clients. Finally, one of the most effective and powerful tools is social media advertising (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).

Conclusion:

Without an effective and thought-out mobile development strategy, it would be impossible for your business to become visible online. Thus, before you decide to create an app for your business, elaborate a step-by-step strategy that will make the process planned.

What is Ecommerce Marketing?

Ecommerce marketing is the universal superset of all digital marketing campaigns. With the goal to drive the target group towards an online shopping website, eCommerce campaigners can employ social media, emails, and Search Engines to various degrees to serve this very purpose. A good eCommerce marketing campaign is an all-encompassing journey that strategies its spend on a step-by-step basis on any, either, or all three forms of online marketing. A good marketing strategy is essentially entrenched in the history of the brand.

If you are well set up on one social platform and mostly sold your products through Facebook or Instagram and are now looking to expand, your growth story will evolve differently from someone who has the bandwidth to start with a website right away. It’s very important to inculcate the historic usage of social media from the conception of the brands. Unlike traditional marketing strategies, eCommerce techniques are readily available for you to view on various dashboards- it’s up to you to choose what will work best for you further. Leveraging this freedom to choose is what makes you write your own eCommerce marketing Playbook instead.

Why eCommerce is important?

We listed some factors that prove the Importance of eCommerce in today’s world.

Brand Recognition
Responsive Web Design
Good UI/UX
Search Engine Friendly
Highly Secured Payment Process
Instant Feed Back For Products
Customer Base Irrespective of geographical boundaries
Low Operational Cost
Fascinate Users With Instant Offers and Sales.
Ecommerce Marketing Methodology

There’s never a fixed eCommerce marketing strategy that fits all eCommerce channels- therefore, your methodology will most likely be a hodge-podge of the best techniques out there that will guarantee you high ROI, increased sales conversions, and whatever else your goal is. There are several eCommerce marketing methodologies to choose from, and these include:

Content marketing:

This essentially involves producing written content, photos, videos, infographics, and the like to engage consumers on various platforms like blogs and social media to increase leads and conversions as well as start a conversation around your brand. While the costs are relatively low, the time taken for content marketing strategies to bear fruit is long and can be quite frustrating. However, it is one of the most important strategies out there.

Email marketing:

With this, you reach out to potential customers, in their inboxes, with content, discounts, and other offers that they will find interesting. A good email marketing campaign always leads a reader to click on the call-to-action button and engage with your business platform. Also, it is much-needed among all other eCommerce skills.

SEO and Pay-per-Click Advertising:

While the others take good old hard work to bear fruit, PPC Advertising is often quicker though not ideal for businesses that are just starting out. The strategy involves paying for audience-targeted ads so that for each click you get on your website link, a fee is paid to the search engine host. SEO is more organic- it involves adding the most searched and relevant keywords to your content so it’s more likely to show up on search engines for related searches.

Top Mobile App Development Trends of 2021

Mobile apps are considered to be the most wonderful technological innovations of all time. It has changed the way people shop, work, communicate and live. With time, mobile apps have evolved by adopting newer technological trends. This is where the role of a good mobile app development company comes into play. Such a development company lets businesses build mobile apps that enhance their reach and boosts productivity.

In 2021 and beyond, certain technology trends will rein the world of mobile app development. The same has been listed below:

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial Intelligence is now penetrating different business sectors and it is said to have a positive influence on people’s lives. Computers and machines now use machine learning or AI to carry out the tasks performed by humans. In 2021 and beyond, the use of AI for mobile app development will increase to a greater extent and so does the use of app builders for the same. Such a step will increase the cost-effectiveness of the project apart from offering better outcomes.

The lack of enough user engagement remains one of the main reasons for the failure of mobile apps. AI lets the developers analyze the apps for user behavior and collect insights about what users want. The developers will be able to know how the users are using the app and what they are looking for in it using AI. The feedback is then used by developers to make improvements in the app. AI lets the developers customize apps in different ways with new possibilities.

Internet of Things (IoT)

IoT technology has been popular in the digital marketplace for some years now. With more mobile devices being created across the world, the opportunities to explore and apply IoT technology are increasing too. The increasing popularity of IoT in mobile app development has led to a boost in smart home technology.

Cloud-based Mobile Apps

The market of cloud services grew in the period of 2019-2020 with a rise of 17% by jumping from $227.8 billion to $266.4 billion. You can store and access data quickly and more securely using cloud technology due to the scalability and flexibility feature it offers the users. Now mobile app development can include cloud technology and this helps in offering enhanced customer experience while cutting down on the development costs.

React Native development:

React Native framework comes from Facebook and is used for cross-platform app development for Android and iOS platforms. React developers make use of React and JavaScript to develop native mobile applications. During the development, developers follow Node.js to complete the backend of the application. React Native brings together low operational costs, hardware access, and native-like features in app development. This is the reason why top mobile app development companies choose React Native for cross-platform app development.

Instant Mobile Apps:

Instant apps are actually software programs that were introduced in 2016 by Google as a part of their App Project. Users can access applications on their mobile devices without having to download it. They work as a website but offer functionality like an app. This makes them more convenient for mobile users. Such an app comes with exciting user interfaces and takes up less space on the phone. Many businesses have benefitted from instant apps in the form of increased conversion rates. Now it is possible for the users to just use a single part of the app as Google now lets the developers modularize the app as needed. It is true that such a feature makes the app all the more interesting but, you need to hire mobile app developers with the right expertise for the job.

Final thoughts

Mobile apps are getting more sophisticated in this digitized world. New technologies are used in these mobile apps to implement software updates. This does not mean you need to follow every upcoming technology trend in your mobile app development project. In short, you need to be sure you only use the technologies which can benefit your business.

Top Technology Trends Moving into 2021

Hiring Trends for 2021 in the IT Sector

The year 2020 has been nothing like anyone expected. Across the globe, the pandemic disrupted our personal and professional lives deeply. While the world still waits for a vaccine and healthcare remains the focus, the business world seems to have picked up momentum after the initial slowdown.

Organizations are now looking forward to embracing the ‘New Normal’. According to a survey by Charter Global, it is expected that more than 50% of organizations expect hiring to become fully active after January 2021. With the introduction of reforms by the Government of India, the IT/ITeS/ BPO industry now has the leverage to allow its employees to work from home’ or ‘work from anywhere. Companies are enabling new employees to work remotely by shipping assets and using technology-enabled collaboration and productivity tools. – The workplaces are going remote.

As the demand for talent gains back momentum, it is bound to put pressure on talent acquisition teams and staffing agencies. It’s vital to understand the key trends that will shape the hiring processes in 2021 and plan to adapt to these changes. If you are looking to optimize your hiring processes and maximize output, here are some top trends you must know:

Change in Working Patterns

The criteria of location for a job have become less important. It gives more options to employers to look for the right talent beyond the city, state our century.

With remote working, many organizations have clocked better output and efficiency and many employees are enjoying the flexibility of time and not having to travel daily to work.

Work from home supported by robust communication technology and clear actionable can lift physical barriers between good employers and a quality workforce. Its boosting global hiring and helping companies to improve their deliverables to clients. Many expansion programs that were shelved due to the non-availability of the desired talent are now possible because we just realized it can all be digitized. Organizations quick in adopting the advanced HR-Tech are the biggest beneficiary of this emerging trend.

Data-Driven Recruitment by use of AI

Another trend that hiring professionals must keep an eye on is data-driven recruitment. With more pressure to hire the right people, both cost and time-effectively, many organizations have turned to data to help them make smarter hiring decisions; and avoid unconscious bias.

With the help of AI, the traditional hiring process will get upgraded through complete automation of employee verification and onboarding practices.

AI-powered Chabot’s will also become commonplace as companies begin to use them for the first phases of applicant screening before scheduling candidates for person-to-person interviews.

Furthermore, organizations now move from traditional descriptive analytics to predictive people analytics. By maximizing previous and current metrics, they can predict upcoming trends that they can utilize to improve HR and recruitment operations.

The complete digital experience for candidates

Technology for the Human Resource fraternity has been a key point of discussion across organizations for quite some time now. The rise of remote hiring has given a thrust to these discussions and in the coming year, HR would like to focus on a smooth digital employee experience.

HR has been using technology for payrolls, attendance, and even video interviews as a part of their process, but with changing times, HR will focus on the use of technology to provide an effortless onboarding experience. 2021 will experience a rise in the adoption of technology for paperless and contactless onboarding including employee authentication. This will help organizations mitigate the risk of hiring employees with dubious backgrounds, provide genuine employees with a great onboarding experience and employers will enjoy a quick TAT while hiring new employees.

Summing it up:

The IT industry has been evolving due to the ongoing impact of the pandemic and the worldwide lockdown. Post-COVID hiring policies depend on how swiftly different sectors plan to scale and transfer their working strategies from traditional to digital, these include healthcare, FMCG, supply chains, delivery, and manufacturing sectors.

Additionally, pandemics expedited the demand for specific disciplines and abilities across the IT job market. Hence, IT hiring will witness a significant change in the key skills and salary expectations to fit the new business practices.

Companies that undergo digital transformation must stay afloat and on top of the game, which is only possible by hiring qualified IT employees. Not ones with just technical capabilities but also the above-discussed skill sets.

Top 3 New Technology Trends for 2021

Every industry is looking to 2021 for new and exciting technologies to help manage the demands of their now-mostly-virtual customers. Because the Charter Global team is tapped into all types of technology outlets, our clients frequently receive updated recommendations on what to use in order to help adapt their businesses ahead of the tech curve and their competitors. When improved efficiency means a better bottom line, we make it a priority to teach our clients about business-altering technologies.

We expect a focus on three new technologies for 2021: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Edge Computing. With these technologies, our developers can better provide our clients with the tools they need to succeed.

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning

While AI and Machine Learning has been around for a while, it continues to grow and expand into more and more effective uses for Charter Global clients. Whether it’s speech or image recognition, AI personal assistants, navigation, or even content creation, AI and Machine Learning allow people to analyze data and recognize trends businesses were never able to do before on their own.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA)

Similar to AI and Machine Learning, RPA is able to complete repetitive tasks and give employees the ability to cut back on monotonous tasks. Checking emails, following strict steps through an application, and processing can potentially be taken over by Robotic Process Automation created uniquely for your business by Charter Global. This can help your business reduce costs and improve efficiency overall!

Additionally, instead of needing to largely alter your already-existing system processes, RPA is typically non-intrusive. We create custom RPAs that can easily integrate within your infrastructure without causing major disruptions and give you a return faster than other solutions.

Edge Computing

As most businesses have turned to the cloud to host much of their data and systems, we’ve now seen a need to bring the information closer – to the edge, to be precise. Edge computing lets our data live closer to where it’s actually being used (instead of on a different continent, from multiple sources) in order to cut down on lengthy response times between applications and general use. While it might seem like it really doesn’t take that long to retrieve the information you need from the cloud, the delay adds up, especially when multiplied across hundreds of employees and thousands of different uses.

Edge computing can also save on bandwidth, as it requires more to retrieve data from faraway places than it does nearer locations. At Charter Global, we expect an increasing number of businesses interested in edge computing throughout 2021.

When you are ready to take your business to the next level by cutting costs, improving communication amongst employees, or even boosting your system processes with exciting new technologies, get in touch with Charter Global! Our expert developers are ready to provide a custom, unique solution for your business to solve any problem you may have.

How have you implemented the Scrum master role in your organization?

What is a Scrum Master?

Scrum Master holds a position that’s relatively narrow in scope, yet extremely broad in influence throughout any organization. In practice, however, a Scrum Master is working behind the scenes and is not involved in product ideation or strategy. They work more as a conduit between product/line-of-business owners and development teams as a project manager. Because agile processes are entirely dependent on people and collaboration, Scrum Masters must also marry soft skills with the latest tools and methods. After all, software projects have many moving parts, and individual programmers can quickly lose sight of the broader scope when heads-down in code. A Scrum Master, on the other hand, maintains a high-level view, helping teams to understand both organizational and technical dependencies while avoiding chokepoints. This creates a culture of accountability and enables teams to meet critical deadlines.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

1. Implement Project Management/Best Practices

The Scrum Master is responsible for creating and onboarding project teams, integrating them into the organization, and providing a clear vision of the product. The Scrum Master also facilitates communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team. They also monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and drive a culture of agility and learning.

2. all Parties on Track and Informed

The Scrum Master hosts daily team meetings to get updates on the progress of the project, address potential roadblocks, and ensure that the project is on track. They also host regular sessions to share updates with product stakeholders about how the project is progressing (or not). Ultimately, it’s a Scrum Master’s job to ensure that the team is meeting deadlines with the desired outcome.

3. Agile Engineering Practices

To improve efficiency, Scrum Masters encourage the use of continuous integration (CI) and automation. With CI tools, developers integrate chunks of code into a central repository frequently, from which automated builds and tests run in successive iterations.

Top Qualities of a Successful Scrum Master

  • Influential

A Scrum Master leads various teams that are working on a project to achieve specific milestones and deliverables. They must be able to motivate multiple groups and stakeholders at an organizational level, maximizing the potential of all at stake. As a team leader, the Scrum Master must bridge the gap between the concept of the project and the actions required to complete it. The Scrum Master must have strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Collaborative

The Scrum Master forms an essential link between the product owner and project teams. While the product owner drives the overall initiative, the Scrum Master nurtures the team. Effective collaboration between the Scrum Master and product owner ultimately result in successful products that meet the organization’s requirements. A good Scrum Master should be able to find creative ways to increase organization, collaboration, and productivity to deliver the product the business line owner requested.

  • Observant

The Scrum Master is not a manager, but a team member and facilitator. They should be good listeners and pay attention to the challenges the project team is facing at every step of the way. The Scrum Master should also be observant, paying attention to the team’s daily activities to gain a clear view of members’ roles and contributions in sprint sessions.

  • Knowledgeable

Besides resolving and issues that arise, the Scrum Master should also proactively prevent potential problems. This requires overarching knowledge about the product and process. The Scrum Master’s experience enables the team to avoid roadblocks. The Scrum Master should possess knowledge of various work formats and agile methodologies such as XP, Lean, and Kanban.

Scrum as a Service model is comprised of self-motivated and well-communicated individuals including Scrum Master, Tech Lead, Developer, Architect, Quality Analyst, and Database Administrator.

Let’s Talk: https://www.charterglobal.com/get-software-development-quote/
